Golden Valor Co. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides renovation planning, design consultation, contractor coordination, and project oversight services to homeowners seeking to improve their properties.

      Golden Valor Co. is a renovation planning and project coordination service. We are not a licensed general contractor, construction company, or builder. We do not perform, supervise, or manage construction work directly.
    

By using our services, you ("Client" or "Homeowner") agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

We operate as a contractor marketplace and project coordination platform. connecting homeowners with independent licensed professionals and facilitating the planning and delivery of home improvement projects.

Legal Disclaimer

Golden Valor Co. provides planning, consulting, and coordination services only. We do not guarantee contractor performance and recommend homeowners independently verify contractor licensing and insurance before work begins.

Golden Valor Co. is not responsible for:

Construction means, methods, or workmanship performed by independent contractors
Delays caused by contractors, material shortages, or permitting processes
Defects, errors, or omissions in work performed by third-party contractors
Any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from contractor performance
Contractor licensing status changes after initial verification
Disputes arising directly between homeowner and contractor

We strongly recommend that all homeowners:

Verify contractor licensing with your state licensing board
Confirm contractor insurance coverage before work begins
Obtain and retain signed contracts directly with any contractor
Consult a licensed attorney for significant construction contracts

Section 03

Scope of Services

Golden Valor Co. offers the following planning and coordination services:

Project Planning

Renovation scope development and documentation
Budget planning and cost guidance
Material selection and sourcing assistance

Design Consultation

Layout ideas and space planning guidance
Fixture and appliance selection recommendations
Finish and material recommendations

Contractor Bidding Coordination

Connecting homeowners with licensed, bonded, and insured contractors
Organizing and presenting contractor bids for homeowner review
Assisting homeowners in reviewing and comparing contractor proposals

Project Oversight

Timeline coordination and progress tracking
Milestone verification and sign-off facilitation
Communication coordination between homeowner and contractor

Additional Services

Handyman service coordination for minor repairs
PCS move coordination and transition support
Move-out cleaning service coordination
Veteran housing assistance and referral services

The language "we help homeowners plan renovations" and "contractor coordination" accurately describes our role. We do not use the terms "remodeling company," "construction company," "we build," "we renovate," or "our contractors" as these would misrepresent the nature of our services.

Section 04

Contractor Relationships

All contractors introduced through Golden Valor Co. are independent contractors. they are not employees, agents, or representatives of Golden Valor Co.

All construction agreements are entered into directly between the homeowner and the contractor
Golden Valor Co. makes reasonable efforts to verify contractor licensing and insurance but cannot guarantee current status
Contractors set their own prices, methods, and schedules independently
Golden Valor Co. does not warrant or guarantee the quality, timeliness, or completion of any contractor's work

Homeowners are solely responsible for verifying that any contractor holds all required licenses, permits, and insurance required by their state and local jurisdiction before work commences.

Section 05

Third-Party Escrow Coordination Coordination

Where Golden Valor Co. facilitates payment coordination or escrow services between homeowners and contractors, the following terms apply:

Golden Valor Co. coordinates the use of independent third-party escrow services. we do not hold client funds directly
Third-party escrow accounts are managed by independent licensed escrow providers, not Golden Valor Co.
Fund release requires homeowner-verified milestone approval coordinated through the escrow provider
Golden Valor Co. is not liable for contractor performance failures or any actions by third-party escrow providers

      We coordinate escrow setup as a service to both parties. ensuring a trusted third party holds funds securely, protecting homeowners from non-performance and contractors from non-payment. Golden Valor Co. does not hold, manage, or control any client or contractor funds.
    

Section 06

Client Responsibilities

By engaging Golden Valor Co. services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information about your project, property, and budget
Independently verify contractor credentials before authorizing work
Communicate changes to project scope promptly
Review and approve contractor bids and proposals independently
Obtain all required permits through the contractor or appropriate channels
Notify Golden Valor Co. of any concerns with contractor performance promptly

Section 07

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Valor Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:

Any contractor's failure to perform or complete work
Defective workmanship or materials supplied by contractors
Property damage or personal injury during contractor work
Project delays, cost overruns, or scope disputes
Reliance on planning or design recommendations provided by Golden Valor Co.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Golden Valor Co. in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

Section 08

Intellectual Property

All planning documents, design consultations, project scopes, and materials created by Golden Valor Co. on behalf of a client are provided for that client's personal, non-commercial use only.

The Golden Valor Co. name, logo, and brand materials are the exclusive property of Golden Valor Co. and may not be reproduced without written consent.

Section 09

Termination

Either party may terminate the service engagement with written notice. Upon termination:

Any funds held in escrow pending milestone completion will be handled per the payment schedule agreed upon
Planning documents and materials produced up to termination remain the client's property
Contractor relationships initiated through Golden Valor Co. continue between homeowner and contractor independently

Section 10

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Columbia County, Georgia.
